New for the 2020/21 School Year!
Eyas [ ahy-uh s ] noun:
a soft and downy unfledged, nestling falcon
Forsyth School's NEW Eyas Program for ages 2–3 is designed to spark curiosity and cultivate a love for learning and school. Eyas prepares children (age 2 by August 1) for academic success and social-emotional growth in Forsyth's Early Childhood Program and beyond.
An expansion of Forsyth's established "challenge curriculum" for age 3 through Grade 6, Eyas is so much more than traditional daycare. Through “purposeful play,” children experience concepts of math, language and literacy, art, music, science, and Spanish under the guidance of master teachers. Forsyth is excited to partner with families during this especially magical and influential time in a child's development.
Eyas will be housed in a dedicated program space located in the heart of Forsyth's one-of-a-kind campus, with easy access to Forsyth's Big Backyard, Butterfly Garden, and Rand Center Gymnasium for gross motor play. Newly nicknamed the "Falcon's Nest," the current stand-alone Science Center will undergo renovation by Mackey Mitchell Architects during the summer of 2020 in preparation for Eyas.
Extremely limited space available for full-time and part-time enrollment. Contact DeAnn Pomatto, Director of Admission, to schedule your visit.
