A New Record!
This crate stacking activity was one of the challenges in Team Building & Adventure camp. The camper harnesses up and is attached to a belay rope. The climber puts a milk carton down, then while standing on it, inserts another carton, stands on it, and so on. It's one of those deceptively simple activities that is a real challenge.
As the tower grows, it's more obvious why the harness and belay are essential. When the tower falls, the climber is suspended on the belay for the ascent to earth. In this case, at 12 crates high, it was quite a drop from the tower. Twelve crates high is a new record at Forsyth School.
