Faculty & Staff Spotlight | Aaron Fox, Grade 2
If you won the lottery and decided to give up teaching, what would you do instead?
I would follow a similar path to the founder of Myspace, Tom Anderson. He sold the company and traveled around the world taking photographs. I've also become a semi-competent cook, so I would want to learn how to cook delicious, eclectic food from all over the world.
Would you rather change the past or be able to see into the future?
Oh man. I'm pretty terrified of the butterfly effect, so I wouldn't want to change the past out of fear that I would prevent some amazing accomplishment that has occurred in history. A peek into the future would be cool. I could listen to Beyonce's next album before anyone else does!
What do you love about Forsyth?
First and foremost, the second-grade team rocks! I would be hopelessly lost if it weren't for Anne, Jill, and Julia. They all inspire and push me to be a better teacher for our students. I'm still in awe when I'm outside actively monitoring the kids during recess because our school is so one-of-a-kind. Plus, I can teach to my passions and collaborate closely with my teammates. I feel incredibly privileged to work at Forsyth!
