Faculty & Staff Spotlight | Jill Dorgan, Grade 2
If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family think you had done?
Given my dependency on dark chocolate, I think my friends and family would probably assume I was arrested for loitering at Kakao Chocolate. The store smells heavenly, there are delicious treats covering every flat surface, and they even offer you a sample while you shop. It's so hard to leave!
Would you rather have a horse's tail or a unicorn's horn?
I would definitely choose a unicorn's horn! Truthfully, horses scare me a bit, so I think I'm better suited to something from a magical animal. Also, my students are quite obsessed with unicorns. They are featured characters in many of the fictional stories the students are currently writing, and we are even planning to celebrate National Unicorn Day in April.
What do you love about Forsyth?
I love the people. From students to colleagues to parents, I'm privileged to spend my days working with people who make me laugh, encourage me, help me think about things in new ways, and challenge me to give my best. I can't imagine a better place to work!
