Faculty & Staff Spotlight | Susan Zareh, Grade 6
What's your favorite thing about one of your grandparents?
My grandmother, Rubilee Weihl, was a wonderful cook. When it was time to eat, she would ring a chime in her hallway near the dining room. I loved her baked eggplant, sautéed onions, and steak meal the most. She probably used lots of butter!
Would you rather be a giant hamster or a tiny rhino?
Tiny rhino - I'd be small but mighty!
What do you love about Forsyth?
I love that my classroom is in the cozy attic of Gerdine House, which overlooks the playground. I love that Forsyth students walk to Wash U and Forest Park for amazing field trips. I love that our community embraces sustainability and doing important deeds to help our planet. And, I love that I can see colleagues, students, and former Forsyth families in the grocery store or anywhere around St. Louis and pleasantly chat with them for 15 minutes - special people are associated with Forsyth School.
