Insider tips on what's fun, what's new:

The first camp session (June 11-15) is Campout Week! All campers in Sr-K through Grade 6 are invited to spend the night on Friday regardless of what camp they are attending that week. Habitat Helpers with Mrs. Torlina and Mr. Schimm is offered twice...the first week of camp and the very last week in August. Action & Adventure, which is always a hit, is the last week of camp Aug 6-10.

If you know Forsyth, you know we have a one-of-a-kind Adventure Center, and we're into challenge and adventure. Our proximity to Forest Park puts cyclists, Habitat Helpers, Roving Photographers and Tourists in our own Town in the park every day. Make art by hand or on the computer, make films, make rockets, and more. Sports, sports and more sports, too, on Falcon Field and in the gym.

Pre-K & Jr-K: Our 3, 4 and 5-year-olds will look forward to becoming Princesses & Pirates – who doesn't love dramatic play? – and Movin', Groovin' & Makin' Music Camp which will get campers on their feet to the beat. A Bug's Life is a new science camp and how about Circus camp? Those are just some of the pre-primary camps this year.

Senior-K-Grade 3: Our vote for originality goes to Forsyth Survivor. Campers will divide into teams to compete in a week of puzzle challenges, obstacle courses, gross-out foods and so much fun. How about Tourist in your own Tour? Study maps, plot routes and create the group itinerary. Or The Wonder Down Under...spend a week touring New Zealand with our own Kiwi, Mrs. Militello.

Grades 3-6: For older kids, 3-D Printing is perfect for future digital creators. Bike Camp teaches campers proper etiquette and bike safety as they venture away from campus to explore all of the great highlights of Forest Park. How about STEAM? Students will question like a Scientist, design like a Technologist, build like an Engineer, create like an Artist, deduce like a Mathematician and, most importantly, play like a kid in 2 STEAM camps offered the last 2 weeks.

When was the last time you went out with other moms? How about a date night? Every Thursday, we offer Pizza & Movie Night. For only $20, you can drop your child at Forsyth from 5:30-8:30p. We'll feed them and watch a movie. That's extra fun for everyone!

On the Summer Discovery page, you'll find this year's brochure, a slide show , and the blogs from 2015-2017 to really show you what the Summer Discovery experience is like. That's where you'll also find online registration.

What do kids love about Summer Discovery? It's summer in the backyard–with a giant slip & slide. The counselors are terrific and really play with the kids. Get the Forsyth experience with Summer Discovery: most of our camps are developed and led by Forsyth faculty. Add Fun Lunch Fridays – often with a food truck – and Thursday Pizza & Movie Nights. Summer Discovery consists of 8 one-week sessions starting June 11 and running through August 10. Camp hours are 9:00a-3:00p Monday through Friday. Before and After Care is also available. There's really nothing like Forsyth Summer Discovery. We hope you'll join us!
