Opening Assembly
Last Friday’s first All-School Assembly of the school year was especially special for our new Grade 6 students! After a morning welcome, Honor Code recitation, and introduction of our new teachers led by the Division Directors, each member of the Class of 2027 stepped up to the microphone to introduce themselves to the entire school community and share something they love about Forsyth. Then, they signed their names to the official class banner, which will hang in Gerdine House (home to the Grade 6 classrooms) until their graduation. This “Uniquely Forsyth” tradition serves as the culmination of our back-to-school week activities and marks our Grade 6 students taking their place as the leaders of our student body, which includes leading our All-School Assemblies going forward.
