SSAT Prep Camp

This one-week camp, facilitated by Ad Astra Educational Services and hosted at Forsyth School, provides an overview of the sections of the SSAT for rising Grade 6 students. One day is devoted to each section: creative writing, verbal, quantitative, and reading comprehension. Fun activities and games provide "brain breaks" each day so the campers can focus when it counts. Camp culminates in a practice test on the final day.

Although this camp directly helps students prepare for the SSAT, the academic skills it strengthens—critical thinking, active reading, number sense, writing skills, and vocabulary—are advantageous well beyond the SSAT. A detailed report with feedback is sent to families and Forsyth School.

SSAT Prep Camp is part of Forsyth Summer Discovery; all camp policies apply, and campers are expected to attend the entire week.
