New Pre-K Building

As part of To New Heights, Forsyth is creating a dynamic new early childhood environment that honors the spirit of the beloved Butterfly Garden while expanding what’s possible for our youngest learners. This thoughtfully designed project features a new early childhood building with a rooftop garden and outdoor playscape that embody Forsyth’s educational philosophy—one rooted in exploration, sustainability, and joyful, hands-on learning.

The rooftop garden will serve as an innovative outdoor classroom, bringing nature-based learning to new heights, literally! Students will engage with the natural world through sensory exploration and imaginative play, all fully integrated into the core curriculum. Adjacent outdoor play areas will complement this space, supporting physical development, creativity, and social connection in a safe and inspiring environment.

More than a replacement, this project is a transformation—elevating the early childhood experience while also enhancing safety and accessibility. The new building will offer bright, spacious classrooms on both floors, with equal square footage and access to natural light. An elevator will make the building fully accessible, and a dedicated basement will provide critical shelter during emergencies, ensuring the well-being of students and staff.
